Jenny HorscraftAuthor & Founder

Treasured Memory Books was founded by established writer and author Jenny Horscraft. With a background in personal Queen’s honours and business awards, Jenny began writing for Forces Support Charity on a pilot project. She has since created many memory books for bereaved military families across the UK, full of photos and personal stories.

The phenomenal response and feedback from the families inspired Jenny to reach out to other organisations and embrace new areas.

At Treasured Memory Books we now write for additional military charities, helping wounded service personnel and their families, veterans, and those who experience mental health problems.  We also connect with the health and care sectors, writing for those who have been directly or indirectly affected by Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and family bereavement.

Our growing team of professional writers absolutely share Jenny’s passion in making a difference; creating a timeless, personal keepsake that parents, children, loved ones and friends can share and treasure through the years.  Each book is beautifully written and designed to capture the true essence of the person within pages of photos and personal stories.

“Writing is my true passion, and so are people. Every day I have heart- warming and fascinating conversations with individuals from all walks of life. All of us have our own story of life to tell – I often think how wonderful it would be if each future generation had the chance to hear it.”

  • “Jenny I am actually lost for words right now. I really don’t think anything has ever touched my heart as much as reading that did. I cried but I also smiled and laughed, mixed emotions all rolled into one. I can’t explain it. It’s so beautifully written and so well put together....”
